If you're travelling to St. Catharines from Niagara Falls via Thorold Stone Road, take care this morning.
OPP were called to the scene of a multi vehicle crash at the end of the eastbound tunnel.
High winds and frigid temperatures have made the stretch along Thorold Stone from Kalar to the tunnel, icy, snow covered and slippery this morning.
The stretch is wide open and the winds will continue blowing snow and freezing the roadway through the morning rush, so take it slow or avoid the area and take the QEW into St. Catharines instead.
