Both North and South Niagara are under a snow squall warnings this morning.
Environment Canada says North of the region can expect up to 15cm of snow today.
Officials say heavy snowfall may significantly reduce visibility near zero at certain times.
Exposed areas near Lake Erie can expect winds up to 110km/h.
Fort Erie can expect up to 25cm of snow today as well.
The QEW Fort Erie Bound at Central Avenue by the Peace Bridge is currently closed due to weather conditions.
While the Peace Bridge itself remains open, Nexus lanes are closed, and border crossing is taking some time.
The following road closures are still in place:
1. Point Abino Road south of Erie - Flooding / Debris
2. Thunder Bay - Shirley to Windmill - Flooding
3. Lakeshore Road / Niagara River Parkway - Dominion Road to Queen Street
Fort Erie's Fire Chief is asking residents to stay off the roads and not to plan unnecessary travel.
