Military police have launched an investigation into the third deadly domestic-training accident to hit the Canadian Forces in five months.
The military announced last night that one soldier was killed and three others were injured in a vehicle accident during a live-fire training exercise at C-F-B Wainwright, in northern Alberta yesterday morning.
The soldier killed has been identified as Sergeant Robert Dynerowicz from the Petawawa based Royal Canadian Dragoons.
Just last month, Master Corporal Alfred Barr died when his parachute failed to deploy during an exercise near Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
And in November, Air Force pilot Captain Thomas McQueen died on impact when his single-seater plane crashed during a training mission near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border.
