Good news on the retail front for the city of Niagara Falls.
This week brings the opening of two new retail sites in a part of the city hard hit by store closures.
Goodwill Niagara opened yesterday in the old Foodland store on Morrison at Dorchester, and is now sharing the building with Lee Valley.
Today, a Treasure Hunt store opens in the old Target plaza, also on Morrison.
Treasure Hunt, which began with one store in Mississippi, bills itself as the largest buyer of insurance claims in the United States, and says it also gets items from retail bankruptcies, overstocks and liquidations.
