Pelham residents breathing a sigh of relief after learning a rotting mass of gunk will be cleared away by the end of the week.
Turns out the stinky sludge is a load of spilled soybeans.
A local resident found it about three weeks ago in an area near Centre Street and Roland Road.
The Standard quoting the Ministry of the Environment who says the farmer, who accidentally spilled the beans, has agreed to remove the material.
The ministry adds it didn't enter Fifteen Mile Creek.
No charges have been filed.
