Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of Southern Ontario including: Niagara Falls - Welland - Southern Niagara Region
St. Catharines - Grimsby - Northern Niagara Region
It says a weather system may bring a mixed bag of precipitation to the area on Tuesday.
Accumulating snow and freezing rain are possible for Central and Eastern Ontario, with some snow, then freezing rain and rain possible for the rest of Southern Ontario closer to Lakes Erie and Ontario.
There is still considerable uncertainty to the track of the low pressure area. This will of course affect how much snow, freezing rain, or rain will fall at a particular location.
Poor travelling conditions can be expected across Southern Ontario as a result.
