No surprise, it really was a wet spring.
Dave Phillips with Environment Canada says we got soaked with a record 379 millimetres of rain this spring, breaking the previous record of 365 millimetres in 1942.
But June has been suprisingly dry so far.
As for the summer forecast, Phillips says we won't see the record heat we did last year, when we experienced temperatures above 30 degrees for a total of 29 days.
The Senior Climatologist says it looks like we may only get the usual 11 days of hot sticky weather.
