A 60 year old St. Catharines businessman and former Brock University trustee is facing additional charges following a police investigation into historical child sex offences.
Jeffrey Cairns is facing three more charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and two counts of sexual exploitation.
In August police charged Cairns with eight counts of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
Police say the new charges were laid after a number of additional complainants came forward.
Cairns will be in court for a bail hearing today.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Mike Ryan or Detective Sarah Rose of the Sexual Assault Unit.
