The St.Catharines Transit Commission has increased its cleaning schedule for buses in the wake of the coronavirus.
Graham Morrison, General Manager of St. Catharines Transit Commission, tells CKTB city buses are now being cleaned daily instead of every few days.
He admits the cleaning is putting a strain on resources, and says it is a costly project.
He says hand sanitizer is also being offered to drivers.
GO Transit announced an increased cleaning schedule with a special disinfectant spray as well.
