After more than 15 years, the goose battle continues to be waged in St. Catharines.
For a second year in a row, the city has rounded up hundreds of Canada geese and shipped them out of the area.
Last year, a private contractor moved 500 geese, this year the number was lower at 350.
A city official says the numbers were lower partly due to flooding along the Lake Ontario shore that destroyed some nests.
Construction at Lakeside Park may also have helped reduce the number of geese.
