The head of the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, along with its board chair, spent close to an hour last night answering questions from St. Catharines councillors.
The two arguing against a motion on the floor, that would have asked the province to step in and appoint a supervisor to take over t agency.
Council instead deciding to refer the issue back to staff to come up with a wide ranging report on the NPCA that looks at resident concerns, how the agency responds to those concerns, its human resource practises, financial information and current programs in St. Catharines.
