Another man from Toronto is facing drug trafficking charges after a month's long investigation into the sale of drugs in St. Catharines.
Niagara Regional Police have been keeping tabs on a Toronto man since October, and over the last few days officers watched as he was involved in suspected drug sales.
Yesterday afternoon police were granted search warrants for a Collier Street address and a vehicle and were able to arrest the man outside the home.
Officers say the man had a loaded 45 caliber gun on him, along with crack cocaine, heroin laced with fentanyl, and almost $3,500 in cash.
The drugs are worth an estimated $2,750 on the street.
24 year old Kenneth McCalla is facing various weapons and trafficking related charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a restricted firearm.
