What would you do with a $68,000 lotto win?
Timothy Fisher, a St. Catharines father of five says he will use it as a down payment on a home, and a trip out east.
The welder got a Royal Flush while playing POKER LOTTO ALL IN.
He also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his POKER LOTTO play bringing his total winnings to $67,924.30.
“I usually play LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX and DAILY GRAND but on the day I won, I decided to pick up a POKER LOTTO ticket just for fun,” shared Timothy, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “I got distracted with a phone call while purchasing my ticket and when I looked back to the clerk, she looked shocked. That’s when I saw the Royal Flush on the lottery screen! I was shocked and excited at the same time!”
He left the store to join his son-in-law in the car and share the good news. “I really surprised him when I said ‘Dude! I just won $67 grand with POKER LOTTO!” laughed Timothy.
The father of five and grandfather of three has lots of plans for his windfall. “I’ll be putting most of it towards a down payment on a house. A trip out east would be nice too. And of course, I’ll be treating my kids and grandkids to something nice,” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Avondale on Richmond Street in Thorold.
