St. Catharines is bringing back its popular 'Pumpkinville' event, celebrating 35 years running.
The family-friendly tradition will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Happy Rolph's.
This year’s event will feature many activities, including crafts, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and live entertainment – with free admission.
“Pumpkinville is a beloved tradition, and we are excited for a day filled with fall family fun,” said Community and Events Coordinator Andrea Connelly-Miele. “Whether it be live music by The Mountain Man and Sleepy Jean, games, food, or the scavenger hunt, there is something for everyone.”
Sleepy Jean will be performing between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. and The Mountain Man will be taking the stage from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Attendees will once again be able to collect a free pumpkin with support from the Meridian Credit Union.
Supplies are limited, and only one pumpkin per family will be available on a first come first serve basis.
A free park-and-ride shuttle bus at Grantham Lions Club at 732 Niagara St. will run from 10:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and people are encouraged to make use of the service as parking onsite is limited.
