St. Catharines City Council has approved a $31.3 million Capital Budget for 2019.
During last night's meeting, councillors also approved spending $70,000 from the Civic Project Fund for an environmental assessment of Facer Street, a well travelled area of the city that attracts thousands of people during the annual Facer European Festival.
Two years ago, council paid $10,000 for a consultant from 8-80 Cities, a Toronto-based non-profit organization, to look at ways to revitalize the area.
