A St. Catharines man is facing charges after a five month investigation into a string of commercial break and enters and thefts across the city.
Since January, police have been investigating multiple incidents believing the same individual was responsible for all the entries.
Earlier this week, after the last reported break and enter it was discovered three firearms were stolen.
As a result of the investigation, police were able to identify the suspect and make an arrest, however they were unable to recover the firearms.
37-year-old Cameron Maclean of St. Catharines has been charged with several charges including five counts of break and enter, possession of a firearm and breach of probation.
He's being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police are still searching for the firearms and asking anyone who may be able to assist to contact them.
