A St. Catharines man has won $1 million with ENCORE.
Kevin Barszcz won by matching all seven numbers.
Barszcz says when he checked the ticket, he didn't realize how many zeros there were.
When the validation slip printed and he saw the zeros, he says his family instantly came to mind.
The new dad of two young boys says the winnings will help with the cost of their education, and now he can easily enroll them into whatever organized sports they want without worrying about the cost.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Carlton Street in St. Catharines.
