St. Catharines has announced playgrounds will start reopening tomorrow as Niagara moves into Stage 3.
Fences and closure signage will be removed from all playgrounds by July 29th.
Residents should note playground equipment will not be sanitized.
The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will reopen on July 28th.
The Port Weller Community Centre will open on July 27th, Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm washrooms will open on July 31st but animals will not return this year to the farm.
City Hall, the Russell Avenue Community Centre, Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, and the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, Aug. 31 will reopen next month.
St. Catharines has a mandatory mask by-law requiring residents to wear a mask when in indoor public spaces.
