A student from Winston Churchill Secondary School in St. Catharines has won her post secondary tuition.
Today, Chartwells presented Steeley Ellis with a prize worth around $30,000.
She is eligible to receive a tuition bursary of up to $7,500 per academic year for four years at a Canadian university or college where Chartwells provides food services.
"I’m very thankful to be chosen for this bursary among so many deserving students," Ellis says via a release. "This is an incredible opportunity and will help me pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian."
Ellis is described as a passionate leader and an active participant in the school's WE club.
