St. Catharines swimmer Trinity Arsenault is one of the latest ladies to get a Barbie modelled after her as part of the "Role Models" campaign.
In 2014, Trinity was the youngest person to swim across Lake Ontario and in 2016 became the youngest Canadian to swim the English Channel.
She says she was approached by an ambassador from Mattel after working with the "Always Like a Girl" campaign.
Trinity is a fan of Barbie because she gives kids a chance to play out different careers and roles, and says this campaign translates to real role models for kids to look up to.
Trinity says having a doll modelled after her is a humbling experience.
She currently studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she takes rowing.
Although she says she retired from swimming two years ago, she says she loves the water and will always go back to it.
Some other women in the campaign include Canadian skating champion Tessa Virtue, director Patty Jenkins, conservationist Bindi Irwin, pilot Amelia Earhart, and gymnacist Gabby Douglas.
The "Role Models" line was launched both for International Women's Day, and to mark Barbie's 60th birthday.
