A St. Catharines government review task force wants to hear what the public really thinks about our local government.
On Tuesday, April 20th city councillors will be hosting an open house from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
This comes as the province is also collecting public input through on online survey as officials conduct a governance review.
Member of the St. Catharines Task Force, Councillor Lori Littleton, says the open house allows comments to be made more freely than the online survey.
"I think sometimes it's very onerous. Some people have said to me, 'I gave up, it's too much'. And so this way if you just say this is what I like, and this is what I don't like, we'll take those comments, so it doesn't have to be so structured."
The feedback provided to the city's task force does not replace the provincial consultation.
