The St. Catharines Terry Fox Run will be returning to Brock University.
The annual fundraiser for cancer-related research normally takes place at Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie, but high water levels have forced organizers to relocate this year.
This will be the second time in three years the run will be hosted at the University, which is fitting given the Terry Fox Foundation has made significant contributions to Brock's cancer research labs.
The run itself takes place on Sunday, September 15th and participants will be treated to a great community experience with a free barbecue and tours of the cancer research labs at Brock.
For those looking to sign up, a registration page is available on the Terry Fox Foundation website.
There is no fundraising minimum but organizers are hoping to top the $52,000 raised last year when 500 people took part.
The 2019 event kicks off Thursday with a flag raising at St. Catharines city hall.
