Many unknowns when it comes to the need for public transit in Niagara.
GM of St. Catharines Transit, Graham Morrison tells CKTB they will bring back 30 min. service on June 28th.
He says front-door boarding with barriers to protect drivers will be implemented on all buses.
Currently it is free to ride a St. Catharines city bus as hourly service continues.
Morrison says ridership is down 80 percent currently, but was down 90 percent when the pandemic first started.
St. Catharines Transit is working with Brock and Niagara College to assess transit needs in the fall.
