Starbucks Canada is getting ready to open what it calls a pickup store in downtown Toronto's underground pedestrian complex.
It's part of a trend that is seeing companies experiment with takeout-only locations to serve customers who increasingly demand online ordering and delivery.
The less than 93-square-metre store will cater to customers who order ahead on the Starbucks mobile app and grab their beverage in store.
You can still order and pay in person, which will let customers who want to bring a reusable cup for their drink to do so.
