Niagara-born actress Stefanie Sherk's cause of death has been released.
Originally from Niagara-On-The-Lake, Sherk passed away on April 20th from an apparent suicide, according to the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
According to PEOPLE magazine, one of the causes of death was drowning.
Sherk's husband Demian Bichir posted the news on instagram earlier this week.
The two begun dating in 2010, and were married the following year.
Stefanie Sherk appeared in "CSI: Cyber" and in movies including "Valentine's Day".
She was also scheduled to appear in the remake of "The Grudge".
She was 37.
