There are some greatly relieved dog owners in Toronto.
On Friday morning a white van owned by a dog-walking company was stolen with 16 beloved pooches onboard.
Their owners spent several agonizing hours fearing for the dogs' safety before police were able to given them the good news -- that the van had been found and their pets were all safe and sound.
Police say the van was stolen near Fort York and Bathurst Street by a suspect described as white, blond and about six feet tall.
A Toronto dog-walking company says its van was taken when a staff member went to pick up a dog in a condo building.
Jake Steinman, co-owner of Soulmutts Toronto, said police told him that three other white vans were stolen in the same area on Friday, and it appeared Soulmutts wasn't targeted.
