If you're going to pick up a friend at a police station, you probably shouldn't drive a stolen vehicle.
Halton Regional Police say a 31 year old man from Stoney Creek was arrested on Monday after officers noticed the plate on the motorcycle he was driving was incorrect.
Officers began investigating, and discovered the motorcycle's Vehicle Identification Number had been tampered with and the bike was reported as stolen from the Hamilton area.
Kyle Brocklebank, who had originally gone to the Oakville station to pick up a recently released prisoner, was arrested.
Officials say he was also found to be in possession of illegal drugs and a taser.
He has been charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, tampering with Vehicle Identification Number, failing to comply with recognizance, failing to comply with probation order, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
