An armed attempted robbery in Thorold has police looking for a suspect.
It took place on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 at a convenience store located in the area of Clara Street and Taylor Street.
A man had walked into the store with a knife demanding money from the clerk.
When the store clerk fought back, the suspect ended up fleeing the scene on foot with nothing.
The K9 unit arrived, but could not track down the suspect.
Police are looking for a white man, 6'0" tall, 180 pounds, wearing a winter coat and dark coloured ski mask and gloves.
