The amazing story of boys trapped in a cave in Thailand has caught the attention of Netflix.
The massive media-services provider says it's going to sign a deal with the boys who were trapped for more than two weeks in the flooded cave.
The statement says it is partnering with the production company that created the hit Crazy Rich Asians to tell the story of the 12 boys and their soccer coach.
The 11- to 16-year-old boys and their coach captured the world's attention last summer after heavy rains trapped them in a cave in northern Thailand.
A Thai Navy SEAL died in the ultimately successful effort to bring the boys and their coach out safely.
