A local Olympian is being inducted into the Ontario Boxing Hall of Fame.
Mike Strange will be honoured during their year's ceremony on May 11th in Woodstock.
The two-time 'Canadian Boxer of the Year' stepped into the ring at the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympics and brought home gold during the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games.
In recent years, he has been spending his time helping out local charities, including co-founding KO for Kids in support of Pathstone Mental Health and running more than 31 hundred kilometres in 81 days as part of the Box Run, raising $100,000 for childhood cancer research.
