Sunrise Records confirming it will be taking over the old HMV location in the Pen Centre.
It's one of 70 HMV stores it will take over this spring.
HMV announced it was closing all of its stores earlier this year after sales plummeted due to competition from online music services.
Sunrise, which was purchased by Ancaster native Doug Putman in 2014, has found sucess by cashing in on the new craze for vinyl records.
In its media release, the company says it plans to stock more than 2,000 titles at all locations to meet consumer demand.
