A concerning spring survey from Statistics Canada shows Canadians are getting behind the wheel while impaired by marijuana.
1.4 million Canadians say they have climbed into a car with a driver who had used cannabis within the previous two hours, while one in seven people said they had actually driven a vehicle themselves in that same time frame during the past three months.
During the survey, male respondents were almost twice as likely to report driving while high.
Cannabis will be legalized across the country on October 17th.
