Suspect found passed out in car

A Welland man discovering that passing out in a running car, with drugs in the vehicle wasn't the smartest move.

Police say they were alerted by some concerned citizens to a man sitting unconscious in a car last night in a parking lot on East Main.

After waking him up police discovered close to $6,000 worth of fentanyl inside the vehicle as well as some cash.

34 year old Daniel Roepke is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drugs as well as possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
