A Niagara Falls man is facing a long list of charges including attempted murder after a gun was fired at a home in the city yesterday morning.
Police began searching for 31 year old David Shirley late Saturday afternoon after a woman was assaulted at a home on Sixth Ave.
That's when police discovered the suspect was in possession of a gun.
Shirley is then accused of going to another home in the falls yesterday morning around 8:30 where he allegedly fired the weapon.
He was arrested without incident about two hours later at a local motel.
Shirley is charged with attempted murder, forcible confinement, break and enter, assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm and breach of probation.
He was taken into custody and will appear before a St. Catharines court today for a bail hearing.
