The man accused of killing 10 people during the Toronto Van Attack in 2018 now has a trial date.
Alek Minassian will face trial in early November, facing 10 counts of first-degree murder and 16 counts of attempted murder.
An agreed statement of facts was submitted earlier this year as part of pre-trail proceedings. In the statement, he admitted to driving a van down a busy sidewalk in the Younge Street area on April 23, 2018.
The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the start of Minassian's trial, which has now been postponed twice.
