Several buildings at Niagara College's Glendale Campus had to be evacuated out of precaution due to a suspected natural gas leak.
Three fire trucks and 14 firefighters were on hand after a 4'' gas line was struck by workers earlier today.
Emergency personnel escorted staff and students away from the affected area.
Air monitoring confirmed there was no gas in the buildings and operations have now returned to normal.
