A discount airline is in some hot water after would-be passengers were stranded in Halifax as not one, but three flights to Hamilton were cancelled over the weekend.
Passengers waited in the airport, growing frustrated with what they say was a lack of information from Swoop Airlines.
The first flight was scheduled to leave for The Hammer on Saturday morning, but was cancelled due to mechanical issues.
Swoop then booked passengers on a flight for Sunday morning, but that flight was also scrapped when a flight attendant developed an ear infection, preventing them from flying.
Then a third flight on Sunday afternoon was cancelled again due to mechanical issues.
The airline did offer refunds to the clearly irate passengers and brought in extra staff on Sunday.
