While Niagara Catholic elementary teachers continue their work to rule campaign, local union negotiators continue to talk with the board in an effort to reach a deal on a new contract.
The two sides have been negoitating with the help of a provincially appointed mediator.
Teachers reached a deal with the province last year which covers pay and benefits but the region's Catholic teachers are still in talks with the school board to settle local issues.
The board chair says they are hopeful the current round of talks will wrap up soon and a deal will be ratified.
