St. Catharines Council will consider reopening the discussion regarding a Community Improvement Plan application for a Port Dalhousie development.
The condo development at the former Lincoln Fabrics on Lakeport Road was denied a tax break through the Brownfield Tax Increment Finance program last month, contrary to a staff recommendation.
Councillor Karrie Porter, who will present the motion to reconsider, previously noted there is a pause on the CIP program while a review is conducted.
There has been pushback to the decision as a different redevelopment project on Queen Street will be getting the tax break from the city.
A special closed door meeting will be held this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. before the regularly scheduled city council meeting.
