Despite a shortage of judges, a preliminary hearing for the 14 year old boy charged with the murder of Devan Selvey will be held in November in a Hamilton court.
There were fears the hearing would have to be put over until the new year.
The teen will also return to court May 27th where the courts will decide if he will be tried by judge or jury.
The preliminary hearing will determine if there is enough evidence to take the case to trial.
The boy is accused of fatally stabbing 14 year old Devan Selvey in front of Sir Winston Churchhill high school in October of last year.
