New research suggests vaping among Canadian teens has skyrocketed by 74 per cent in a single year, and that new brands of e-cigarettes are gaining a foothold.
In response, the Canadian Cancer Society says it would like to see the Saskatchewan government take action by increasing the legal age to purchase vaping and tobacco products to 21 and to introduce advertising restrictions.
Saskatchewan has the highest youth smoking rates in the country.
