As countries look to ban plastic straws, there is another item slowly disappearing from the landscape.
Hotels across North America are moving to get rid of those tiny shampoo bottles we love to take home with us.
Marriott Hotels are replacing the tiny toiletries with larger bottles in wall mounted racks.
The racks will be expanded to all of its 1,500 hotels in North America by January.
Many travellers are decrying the loss of the bottles, but hotel owners say the move is in response to environmental concerns as well as complaints by customers who complain they simply need more shampoo to wash their hair.
