One of Ontario's biggest buffet chains has reinvented itself.
The Mandarin is open again for business but gone are the days of all you can eat.
The chain is now offering a service called Mandarin small plates, a selection of 70 classics that are brought right to your table.
Dishes start at $1.99.
It's also beefed up health and safety protocols including increased sanitization, single-use menus and reduced capacity.
A recent poll by Restaurants Canada shows the majority of eateries across the country are still operating at a loss, while more than half predict it will take more than a year to return to profitability.
