A third COVID-19 testing centre will open in Niagara.
The centre will be located at the Welland hospital site, and will open on Monday, June 22.
It will be open from 9-5 Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is located in the auditorium of the Welland Site at 65 Third Street. The dedicated parking spots can be accessed from MacLean Place and Plymouth Road.
Those wishing to be tested are encouraged to call 905-378-4647 ext. 42819 (4-CV19).
Walk-ins are accepted until 4:30 p.m. on the days of operation.
So far Niagara's two testing centres - at the St. Catharines hospital and Greater Niagara General Hospital sites- have conducted almost 17,000 tests since opening in March.
The St. Catharines Assessment Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Sunday and is located behind the Walker Family Cancer Centre at the rear of the St. Catharines Site at 1200 Fourth Ave.
The Niagara Falls Assessment Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Sunday and is located in the Allied Health building behind the Greater Niagara General Site at 5673 North Street in Niagara Falls.
