Brock University is mourning the death of a third year student.

Brock University is mourning the death of a third year student.

The Brock News reporting Troy Larouche, a student from Welland, died in a tragic accident in Germany over the weekend.

Larouche who was enrolled in the Goodman School of Business dual degree program was studying in Germany where he had just completed a co-op term with an e-commerce company.

He was set to begin his final term of studies at EBS University business school in Germany.

Two Brock officials including the Associate Dean of the Goodman School of Business are travelling to Germany to assist 14 other students studying at EBS, to help them work through this difficult time.

The school is planning a memorial service.

There are no details on how the student died.
