Thorold council promises action on wild party issue

Thorold city council promising a plan to deal with rowdy Brock University students.

The issue comign to the forefront last weekend when police were called in to bust a wild homecoming party on Winterberry Blvd Saturday night.

During this week's council meeting, Mayor Ted Luciani telling residents they are taking their concerns seriously and hope to have a plan to deal with the problem.

A staff report on the issue and ways to tighten up existing bylaws and regulations is expected next month.
