A 26 year old Thorold man has been arrested accused of calling in a fake report of an emergency situation at the Pen Centre.
Police making the arrest Thursday after releasing the suspects' picture which was caught on surveillance at the St.Catharines mall.
It was back on April 17th, 911 received a call from a man saying there was an emergency situation involving firearms at the Pen Centre.
Police rushed to the mall to find there was no threat to the public.
With the assistance of Pen Centre Security, officers were able find video footage and captured images of a suspect who used a specific payphone at the time the 911 call was made.
26 year old Joseph Miller of Thorold is charged with one count of public mischief.
Miller was released from custody, and will be back in court Friday May 24th.
