Motorists driving in Niagara Falls should take note, Thorold Stone Road between Stanley and Portage will be closed to traffic today from 11 am to 11 pm as CN crews repair the rail crossing.
On its website the city says the road closure is necessary for emergency railway crossing repairs and will include excavation of the track.
Both local residents and emergency services will have access only either from Stanley Avenue or and Drummond Road/ Portage Road during the closure.
No through traffic will be permitted.
