Thorold Tunnel reopens

It's good news for south Niagara residents who use the Thorold Tunnel. 

The Ministry of Transportation confirming the WB lanes of the tunnel have re-opened. 

They were closed last Friday after a flat bed truck carrying an excavator scraped the walls and roof of the tunnel causing extensive damage.
