Two Port Colborne residents are facing a number of charges after a threats investigation by Niagara police.
The Emergency Task Unit was called early Friday morning after surveillance video led police to believe there was concern for public safety.
Acting on a search warrant, two people were taken into custody and a number of items related to the investigation were seized.
Fifty-three-year-old Kenneth Wagner and 46-year-old Liettte Arbour are facing several charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and trafficking.
Wagner faces six additional charges including two counts of uttering threats.
Police say their investigation continues but there are no concerns for public safety with the arrests and the seizure of evidence.
